We’re always excited to discover new books, local authors, artists, and creative work that fit our bookstore and community. While we can’t accommodate every request, we carefully consider each submission.

For Authors

We consider traditionally published, independently published, and self-published books, with a special interest in local and regional authors and books with a Wisconsin, Upper Peninsula, Northwoods, or Lake Superior connection.

For most books, availability through a wholesale distributor such as Ingram Content Group is preferred. Local authors are encouraged to reach out even if their book isn't traditionally distributed.

Please include your book title, author name, ISBN (if available), publishing information, a brief description, and why you think it would be a good fit for Silver Street.

Author Events

Interested in an author signing, reading, or other event? Tell us about your book and your event idea. We’ll consider requests based on availability, customer interest, and fit for our community.

For Artists

We’d love to hear from artists interested in having their work featured or sold at Silver Street. Please tell us about yourself, your artwork, and what you have in mind. A website, social media, or portfolio link is helpful.

Please do not mail or drop off books or artwork without contacting us first.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that we will carry your book, feature your artwork, or schedule an event. If we think your work may be a good fit, we’ll follow up with you.
