Refund policy

Our window

You can return most books within 30 days of delivery for a [refund / exchange]. Items need to be unread and in resalable condition, with the original packaging where possible.

How to start a return

  1. Email
    silverstreetbooks@gmail.com
    with your order number and the title you'd like to return.
  2. We'll send you a return authorisation and the correct return address.

Please don't ship anything back before you have an authorisation — parcels sent to the wrong address can't be processed or refunded.

Return shipping

Return postage is paid by the customer.  We recommend a tracked service; we can't refund a return we never receive.

Damaged or incorrect items

If a book arrives damaged, or isn't what you ordered, contact us within [7 days] with a photo. We'll replace it or refund you in full, and you won't pay return shipping.

What we can't accept

  • Print-on-demand titles, which are produced individually for your order 
  • Items returned after [30 days] or showing signs of reading or wear

Refund timing

Once your return is received and checked, refunds go back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
