Second Time Butterfly

Everyone talks excitedly about what to do when you're grown up but few talk about the other end of life when everything turns upside down. You go from running in the rat race to sitting in a colorless void where the silence is overwhelming.

That's where Edie Monrow finds herself. Now retired and widowed, she is all alone and lost. She has more to give, but how? With no idea where to start, Edie feels redundant in a world that sidelines the 'mature'.

But could a chance encounter with a young boy and rescuing a dog bring color back into her world? Obstacles and pushbacks mar her journey to wholeness, as not everyone appreciates her efforts.

Longing for connection and purpose, she wonders if this old caterpillar can once again become the butterfly.
