Austen's Sense and Sensibility has been celebrated in film, stage and television; today it is celebrated for its 200th Anniversary. The dichotomy of classicism vs romanticism is expressed in this brilliant masterpiece; as it follows two sisters as they search for love. Elinor often mirrors Austen's position on romance, but in the end Austen shows there is much to be admired in both logic and passion.
