The Promise of Yet

Carl Walker's story is more than music. It's about perseverance, encouragement, and growth.

From his earliest days at the piano, Carl loved music, but talent alone wasn't enough. He had to work hard, keep learning, and overcome the doubts that made him want to quit. With the support of his teacher and family, Carl discovered the power of resilience and the importance of never giving up.

This book helps teachers, parents, and librarians introduce themes of social and emotional learning, growth mindset, and problem-solving. It encourages children to embrace challenges, believe in their potential, and recognize the impact of encouragement and support. Carl's journey is a reminder that setbacks are part of learning and that perseverance makes success possible.
