The Safari Girls

Three women-Sissy, Mona, and Carmen-reunite to commemorate their unforgettable journey to Africa 50 years ago. When they discover their beloved mentor was fired for stealing, the reunion takes a dramatic turn.

Meanwhile, they must unravel the dilemmas of their own lives. Sissy is facing eviction from the only home she's ever known because of her inability to move beyond the past. Carmen is juggling between her desire to reach the pinnacle of her career and her husband's invitation to retire into the sunset of their lives. And Mona's determination to uncover the truth about their mentor exposes her to more than she bargained for.

As they dig into the past and navigate their own personal challenges, they uncover a series of complex liaisons, hidden truths and unexpected revelations. With wit, heart and the unique perspective of women of a certain age, The Safari Girls explores the spirit and commitment it takes to rescue the legacy of an unsung hero decades later.
