Thor: Behemoth of the Black Moon

An all-new story about the Mighty Thor in the celebrated Marvel Arts line, written and illustrated by Eric Powell, the five-time Eisner Award-winning, critically acclaimed creator of the bestselling comic book series The Goon

Eons ago, Odin--the All-Father, King of Asgard and protector of the Ten Realms--led his city into battle against the realm of Roangard. Odin's wrath was great, and after defeating their petty and covetous king, he banished his celestial brethren to the darkest reaches of the known universe, where they are incapable of doing harm or having any influence on the righteous.

But when a decrepit vassal from the banished realm risks his life to journey to Asgard and seek help against an unimaginable evil that has befallen Roangard--a beast that is devouring its people and laying waste to their lands--the Mighty Thor, bound by honor and pride and against his father's better judgment, takes up the cause and agrees to help the people of Roangard.

In Behemoth of the Black Moon, the latest all-new graphic novel from Marvel Arts, writer/artist Eric Powell (creator of The Goon) explores the darker side of Asgard's history, as the God of Thunder grapples with the demons from his father's past, and learns that not every wrong can be made right.
